Upcoming new series of programming lessons

After moving several thousand miles (and one whole continent), finding a new job, getting a new apartment (and furniture, and car, and everything else you’d need to restart your life), things are finally starting to settle down, and I’ve got some free time again.

So, that means it’s time to get back to making more programming lessons.

I just built a new computer for home (I’m working on an article about that), and I’m ready to set up a new C# programming environment. As I do that, I’m going to create some new lessons – with videos.

Here’s the current outline. If you have any suggestions or requests, please leave a comment below.

The microphone I ordered won’t be in until Friday. So, I may not make any videos until I get that.

C# development environment setup lessons

Building my home development/gaming PC

Installing SQL Server 2014

Installing Visual Studio 2015

Installing TortoiseSVN (Subversion) source control with VisualSVN plugin

Installing GitHub source control

Writing unit tests for your code

Installing and using TeamCity continuous integration

Thanks. I’ve been setting up the environment for making more videos (with audio) and should be able to start on them this weekend.
